It started with a love of gemstones.

Lauren spent holidays as a child in her family’s native South Africa, gathering treasures and collecting gemstones to bring home. She was fascinated by the organic forms, one-of-a-kind crystal structures, and hypnotic colours. Over the years, Lauren’s love of gemstones lead her to experiment with making her own jewellery. Largely self-taught, Lauren’s passion is for creating individual pieces with organic textures and uneven surfaces, most often embedded with gemstones. Lauren works as a High School Art Teacher alongside running her jewellery business from her home studio in London. Her creative practice often finds its way into her teaching, and she is passionate about opening up young minds to craft practices such as this.

Each piece is designed and hand-made by Lauren. The design process is a pivotal part of any bespoke piece, and working one to one with clients is one of her favourite parts of the creative process.
